History of Men On The Move
“Men on the Move” was founded Fall 2009 in Webb Hall. The organization was founded by undergraduate Torel Daniels and faculty advisor Dr. Ralph Noble(Of Webb Hall). Men on the Move was founded because Daniels was worried about the fate of black male students and understood that females were thriving. When he turned to the Animal Science Department`s chairman, Dr. Ralph Noble, for answers, Noble`s encouragement resulted in the founding of Men on the Move, a male mentoring organization devoted to leadership and retention. We seek to improve the image of leadership and excellence within the males on this Campus. As time went on Men on the Move continued to grow in size, and impact within not only its members, but for the Greensboro community. Starting off in 2009 with just a few members, Men on the Move has grown to a size of 100+ young men dedicated to excellence.
